biofresh biological cleaning agents have been specially formulated to remove fats, uric acid scale and solids which build up on the urinal surfaces and in the connecting pipework causing bad odours and blockages.

Two products are available; blocks for placing in the urinal bowl and a liquid cleaner for use on urinal surfaces and adjacent areas. The blocks are available loose, in buckets of 50 or incorporated into a shield which sits in the base of the urinal, preventing gum, paper and other debris from obstructing the outlet. The liquid cleaner is available in a 750 ml trigger spray.

Our biological urinal blocks have been specially formulated to reduce odour problems and blockages in urinals. Citrus perfumed and water soluble the blocks effectively eradicate the production of uric acid scale formation and the build up of fats in the urinal and its drain.

The blocks contain a selection of non-pathogenic micro-organisms a blend of cleaning and water softening agents and a special odour blocking perfume.

The blocks are available in 1.1 Kg tubs containing approximately 50 blocks. One block per urinal will provide protection for one week.

pDCB blocks

Please do not confuse our biofresh urinal blocks with para Dichlorobenzene blocks which have been traditionally used in urinals. These blocks have no cleaning efficacy whatsoever. They dissolve into air not water, which is how they produce a masking odour. In fact when they become small they fall into the trap increasing the risk of blockages.

biofresh Washroom cleaner and odour neutraliser

A highly effective biological washroom cleaner that works by degrading organic soiling. The Biofresh washroom cleaner will remove calcium deposits on toilet bowls, sinks, showers, taps and fittings. Use for cross contamination points such a toilet levers and door handles.

How our biological cleaning product works

Safe, powerful enzymes break the bonds that shape the problem. Any stain, odour or blockage is made up of molecules joined together as complex chemical. These chemicals are linked together by bonds (chemical chains). By careful selection and use of powerful enzymes to safely break these bonds, the chemicals no longer exist. The molecules do but individually they cause no further problems.

Friendly bacteria then eat the remaining organic matter. Bacteria are able to digest molecules of organic matter such as collects in drain converting it into water (H2O) and carbon dioxide (CO2).

The problem has now gone. As there is no organic matter on which our special safe bacteria or other harmful germs can feed, they cannot survive. The problem is removed, not covered up as with many harsh chemical cleaners. It’s cured - naturally.
